Data collected

Hunchkoo collects the minimum: a sign-in identifier (Google account or anonymous session via Firebase Authentication), an optional nickname you choose, and your votes — stored in aggregate and anonymously (no public link between a vote and you).

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used only to run the game (voting, creating questions, showing results). Legal basis: your consent and the legitimate interest in providing the service.

Processors

Google Firebase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (hosting), and Groq (the text of questions you create is sent to Groq, Inc. for automatic verification, correction and translation). No data is sold.

Cookies

No advertising or tracking cookies. Firebase may store a sign-in token in your browser (required to function). Your preferences (language, etc.) stay local.

Retention

Aggregated votes are kept while the service exists. Account data is deleted on request.
